Are you available to photograph our wedding?
I tend to get booked 12-18 months in advance, but some dates remain open longer than others. Please contact me using the contact form, email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on 07870 368887 to check availability.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, although I am based in Sandbach, Cheshire I will cover the UK and beyond. Please note mileage charges may apply and overnight accommodation may be required for distances over 100 miles from CW11
Do you require a deposit and when is the balance due?
Yes, a £100 deposit and a signed contract is required in order to make a booking, and this also secures your date. The balance is due no later than 30 days prior to your wedding day.
How can I pay?
I accept cheque, credit card, debit card, paypal or cash but find the simplest method of payment is bank transfer.
Are there any additional charges after the wedding?
Prices and details of your chosen package are clearly stated in the contract. Any extras such as wedding album upgrades agreed after signing the contact can be paid at anytime prior to the wedding. If you decide to upgrade after the wedding, any additional costs must be paid before the album is designed.
Is there a contract?
Yes, my insurance requires us to have a contract with all clients. Like the deposit, your date is not considered booked until we receive a signed contract. You will receive the contract, usually via email shortly after booking your day with me.
Are you insured?
Yes, I am fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity coverage. I also have backup cameras and lenses, numerous batteries and memory cards etc.
What time do you arrive?
As a guide, if covering the bridal prep we arrive with the bride approximately 2 hours before the ceremony time.
What time do you leave?
Depending on the collection chosen, we will stay up to and including the first dance.
Do you require a meal?
Yes, please, for both myself and my second photographer. It’s a busy day usually without breaks for food and drink. Most venues will be able to supply two main meals if you ask, and that will be sufficient.
How many images can we expect?
Each wedding is different, and so we don’t commit to a set number of images. For a full day, you can usually expect around 400 images. Any photos that do not make the final selection will not be shown or made available as they are deleted during image selection.
When will the images be ready?
At quiet times you can expect the images for approval within 2-3 weeks, at busy times this may go up to 4-6 weeks.
Who owns copyright over the images?
Copyright is a complicated issue and many times can be misunderstood. Martin Pawlett Photography retains copyright but grants clients the right to print and share, however editing is not permitted.
