It was a pleasure photographing Lorraine and Stu's wedding ceremony. De Vere Cranage Estate in Holmes Chapel was a perfect choice for their wedding. Since the first time I came to De Vere Cranage Estate, I've always wanted to come back, I enjoy working there. It is a fantastic place.
The day began with me photographing Lorraine whilst she got ready at . As the makeup was applied and everyones hair was finished off I photographed the small details and the developing story. The air at was filled with excitement as Stu prepared himself for the day.
As Lorraine came down the stairs, she looked really excited to finally get married to Stu. De Vere Cranage Estate was a fantastic place to photograph all the moments of Lorraine and Stu’s wedding ceremony. Cheshire has some of the best wedding locations!
Lorraine and Stu shared some photo moments with the guests after the ceremony before proceeding to the reception. The guests were chatting happily, as they enjoyed drinks of their choice. I enjoy drifting among the guests to take the best shots and witness the stories unfold as the hours go by.
There's some real advantages to getting married in Winter. It was a mainly cloudy day, helping create lovely soft light, and soft light is the best kind of light for flattering photographs.
All in all I had a blast at Lorraine and Stu's wedding and I just know they will build a fantastic life together.
