It was a pleasure to be Lisa and Steve's wedding photographer on their special day at Capesthorne Hall, just outside Macclesfield, Cheshire. It is set amazing grounds, with so many opportunities for fantastic photos, and I love working at places with a fresh perspective. I am very honoured to work in such fantastic locations as a wedding photographer in Cheshire.
I started the morning photographing Capesthorne Hall from the sky with our drone, with such amazing weather it was an opportunity not to be missed. Aerial photography with a drone gives you a perspective that you just can't achieve from the ground.
I then met Lisa at in the Potting Shed accommodation as she got ready for the day. I really enjoy photographing bridal prep as it gives you a chance to get to know the bridal party a little better while Neil met Steve and the lads as he prepared for his big day.
Lisa finished the bridal prep in the main building, and headed down the amazing staircase to the ceremony. Photographing these special moments just before the ceremony adds to the story, showing the emotions and nerves of the moments ahead.
Afterwards the reception was a success and everyone had a smile on their face, with the guests and happy couple enyoying the stunning surroundings Capesthorne has to offer. All the moments I photographed are worth a thousand words, it was truly a special day.
Everyone loves a good Summer wedding, and I'm no exception. We had a really sunny day, which put a smile on everyones faces, and it made taking the photographs a joy on the day.
Lisa and Steve's wedding was one of the most amazing weddings I had photographed recently, and it was so hard to pick just a few of my favourite photographs to showcase their day.
