It seems ages since I first met up with Helen and Kieran for a drink in Knutsford to discuss their upcoming Wedding, and as with all Weddings they come round so quick.
Helen and Kieran were both nervous about posing for photographs at their engagement shoot, but myself and Chris soon put them at ease, and with Helens impeccable timings and level of detail on her actual Wedding day - everything ran like clockwork! Helen must be one of the most organised brides, in fact people, I know.
Onto the Wedding day itself, and what a fantastic sunny day in was in Manchester, where we met Helen and the girls at The Place Hotel getting ready. Part of the enjoyment of photographing a wedding is the unexpected little details that couples put into the day - how fantastic do those crochet flowers look.
We left Helen and her girls and caught up with Kieran and the guys down at the local - where else - and shortly afterwards we all made our way to the St Vincents Church in Altrincham.
During the ceremony itself, Chris snapped a picture one of the guests on FaceTime to a guest the other side of the world who could't make it - and we later realised what the mask of someones head during the bridal prep was for!
Once the group shots we taken, we all headed off for the partying to begin at The Place Hotel in Manchester. Helen and Kieran had organised a fantastic live "fiddler" band who kept the guests entertained before the Wedding breakfast. The huge H & K letters looked great too, and something I haven't seen before were the records for the table plan - and each guest could sign a message onto their tables record.
Finally after a long but great day, we headed home for a few beers ourselves!
Congratulations to Helen and Kieran and all the best for the future!
